Warranty Policy

1.1 Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty

All new jewelry (excluding certain customized embellishments) carries a lifetime manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal, everyday use.

1.2 What’s Covered

• Metalwork Defects: Broken settings, faulty claws, weak solder joints.
• Stone Setting Failures: Prong breaks, loose stones due to manufacturing error.
• Manufacturer Flaws: Poor finishing, structural defects not caused by wear.

1.3 What’s Not Covered

• Wear & Tear: Minor scratches, surface scuffs, natural patina.
• Misuse or Accidents: Damage from bending, dropping, exposure to chemicals (e.g., chlorine, bleach).
• Unauthorized Alterations: Repairs or modifications done outside our service centers.
• Natural Gemstone Changes: Slight color shifts, natural inclusions over time.
• Components with Separate Manufacturer Warranties: (e.g., certain branded sub-items included in sets).

1.4 How to Claim Warranty

1.4.1 Email support@valamdesign.com with:

• Subject: “Warranty Claim – [Order #]”
• Photos/videos clearly showing the defect,
• Order number and Product details,
• Brief usage history (e.g., how often worn, any incidents).

1.4.2 We will respond within 3 business days to authorize a warranty return or propose alternatives (repair vs. replacement).

1.4.3 If approved, ship the item to our Mumbai service center (address provided upon authorisation). We cover return shipping under warranty.

1.4.4 Our skilled artisans will repair or replace the defective component within 14 business days of receipt. We then ship the restored Product to you at no cost.

1.5 Product Upgrade Option

If you wish to upgrade your jewelry (e.g., change center stone to higher carat), we apply your original purchase price toward the new purchase, minus a processing fee equal to 10% of the new Product’s value. Upgraded items reflect current market pricing; contact support@valamdesign.com for details.
